Another picture of looking down Main Street, Liverpool, this time about 1902 and now the new Post Office has been built. (Actually it was built in the around 1890)
Notice the old cannon on the corner. I think most of us still remember those. There is only one cannon left still embedded on a street corner … at the corner of School St. and West St. in Milton. Take notice next time you drive by.
