We are delighted to announce that our proposal to take over management of the historic Liverpool Courthouse has ben accepted. We will turn the Greek-Revival styled building into a Museum of Justice.
This distinctive building served as courthouse from 1854 to 2015, so it is fitting place to display our many historical ‘justice’ related items.
One room will also be set aside for our Bowater Collection, a fascinating collection of artwork and photographs from the (now closed) Bowater Mersey plant in Brooklyn.
We aim to have the museum open by this summer.
The hard work now begins!
